Lance Leikis Reserve

Entrance to Lance Lekis Reserve.
This triangular area of land off Tironui Drive adjoins the much larger Sugarloaf Reserve. The Lance Leikis Reserve
was created when the Tironui residential subdivision went ahead, and developer Mary Halliwell asked that it be named after
former Napier City Council planner, the late Lance Leikis.
The elevated site is easily accessible from the road and there is formed parking for seven vehicles. Panoramic views
take in Cape Kidnappers and much of the city as well as Taradale.
The reserve includes seating for enjoying the vista and the native tree species planted on site.
