NRB Customer Satisfaction Survey
As part of its ongoing commitment to actively seek the opinions and involvement of citizens, Napier City Council
commissions the National Research Bureau Ltd to conduct a wide ranging survey of its citizens. The results of the survey are
used in the Council's planning processes and are also included in the annual report performance results for the
various significant activities.

Customer satisfaction targets are measured by the NRB Customer Satisfaction Survey. Interviews were carried out with 450
residents of Napier, throughout the City. Weightings were applied to the sample data to reflect the
actual male/female/age/ethnic proportions in the area as determined by the Department of Statistics Census data. The
Communitrak Survey is a scientifically prepared service based on a random probability sample.
For the sample size of 450 the margin of error is plus or minus 6.5%.
