 Kennedy Park Top 10 Resort is a Napier City Council owned and operated facility, offering a range of holiday accommodation and facilities all year round. It is set on 5.6 hectares of land, and its pristine grounds, lawns and gardens are an important part of our customers’ positive experience.

We have a full-time permanent position available:

GROUNDS PERSON

This is one of the two Grounds Persons who perform grounds maintenance and general labouring duties, assisting with the day-to-day operation of the park.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, 5 days, including rostered weekends and public holidays, with 2 alternate shifts, morning and evening ( covering the 7 days from 7.30 am to 9.00 pm).

This role requires a fit, energetic and versatile person with practical experience.

Other requirements include: 

  • friendly personality, relating well to people (staff and guests)
  • helpful, cooperative, able to follow instructions
  • previous experience in grounds maintenance preferred
  • common sense, able to use tools and equipment safely
  • reliable and honest
