Grants Allocation Sub-Committee
Role:
- To allocate Community Service Grants in accordance with Council policy.
- To make recommendations to Council to approve Community Service Grants and impose any appropriate conditions or performance criteria.
Note:
- In 2009, the Community Services Grant for Napier was set at $1.30 per head of population.
- The Sub Committee reports to the City Services Committee.
- Community representatives of this Sub Committee are paid $115 per meeting.
The Committee's recommendations must be consistent with the Council's Ten Year Plan.
