Maori Consultative Standing Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to provide for governance input of Tangata Whenua to the Council decision making process.
Terms of Reference:
- To make recommendations to Council on agenda items already included on the Standing Committee agendas.
- To make recommendations to the appropriate Standing Committee or Council on any other matters relevant to Council as considered necessary by the Consultative Committee.
Note: Maori Consultative Committee members to attend Council seminars / workshops as appropriate.
Standing Committee Chairpersons could attend Maori Consultative Committee meetings if requested and as appropriate.
