1. What is the last day for payment of rates?
- 19 August 2009 , 18 November 2009, 17 February 2010, 19 May 2010
2. Can I pay my rates by Direct Debit?
3. Can I pay my rates by Credit Card?
- Yes, but only on our website, if you want to pay in person you can on pay by cash, EFTPOS or cheque.
4. Can I pay my rates or other Council accounts at places other than the Civic Building?
5. Can I make payments using Internet banking?
- Yes, but accurate details must be provided to ensure your payment is
receipted to the correct account. Details required - surname,
initials, account type (rates, debtors, water or parking), reference no (eg.
valuation no, account no, ticket no). For enquiries phone (06) 834 4197.
6. What is the valuation of my property? I have a rates assessment enquiry?
- You should telephone the Rates Department on 834-4197 for answers to
these questions.
